Expanding Universe

The Murano glass sculptures explore different possible models for the expansion of the universe. Their open or closed forms refer to cosmological hypotheses developed by Stephen Hawking and Roger Penrose: universes that may expand infinitely or collapse back into themselves in a possible Big Crunch.

Each sculpture appears as a frozen trajectory: not the image of a single universe, but of multiple possible destinies of space-time.
