Schrödinger's Cat

2026

The sculpture, made in ceramic, presents a single volume composed of many cats fused together, as if all their possible positions coexisted at the same instant. It refers to the thought experiment proposed by Erwin Schrödinger in 1935, in which a cat enclosed inside a box is, before observation, simultaneously alive and dead.

It does not represent a sequence, but a moment in which reality is not yet defined. The cat appears in multiple configurations at once, as a coexistence of possibilities.

The sculpture exists within this space of indeterminacy: it does not show a single reality, but an open multiplicity in which every possible state of the cat remains possible.
